Hobo spider (Tegenaria agrestis) - Tegenaria agrestis - female

Hobo spider (Tegenaria agrestis) - Tegenaria agrestis - Female
Enumclaw, Forested Unincorporated King County, Washington, USA
October 1, 2009
Size: 15mm body
I know you really need an expert to identify a Hobo, but I'm convinced that she is. We've got tons of these on our forested and fielded property. I find most of them under rocks that are near our house or detached garage. But they are also frequently crawling on the side of our house at night in search of food (I'm assuming). This specimen found a way into our house, as many spiders do, and was tucked neatly into a corner by the door. I frequently utilize this publication: How to Identify (or misidentify) a Hobo Spider, by Rick Vetter & Art Antonelli.

From Rod Crawford:
Yes, the epigynum makes it correct. The sternum character (while a
good indication) is a bit unreliable taken by itself.

I tend to agree
with your ID, but I'll send to Rod to see what he says.
