Cave cricket - female

Cave cricket - Female
Mt. Olive, NJ, Morris County, New Jersey, USA
October 4, 2009
Size: ~3 inches, sans antennae
We have these in my basement and around the foundation of my house. Beautiful tortoise-shell markings. I don't think I've ever heard them chirp. This one is probably the largest I've found. Are there many different varieties of cave crickets in the US?

Lots, don't chirp....
Many, MANY different species, most in the genus Ceuthophilus, but this one might be a female of the "greenhouse stone cricket."
