btw, since the only other image we have is so tiny, yours is all the more welcome. Also, that's a neat trick, holding a stick on the beetle's leg so you can have time to focus on it.

fyi, these beetles are called blister beetles because they can exude a fluid containing a skin-blistering agent if they feel threatened.
