Giant Stink Bug - Alcaeorrhynchus grandis

Giant Stink Bug - Alcaeorrhynchus grandis
Mobile (Dog River), Mobile County, Alabama, USA
October 8, 2009
Size: ~20mm
This is, without a doubt, the largest stink bug I've ever seen. It landed on my camera, briefly. It was almost a knuckle long (25mm). Its markings are distinctive and should be easy to ID. However, I have exhausted my guides and the internet, searching for this colorful and magnificent creature. Hopefully, someone has seen it before. Thanks.

Alcaerrhynchus grandis?
