Caterpillar - Estigmene acrea

Caterpillar - Estigmene acrea
Mt. Herman, McCurtain County, Oklahoma, USA
October 8, 2009
Size: About 1.5 inches
It resembles the wooly bear caterpillar, but not enough rufous.
It was crawling across the road, in great haste, next to a pond.
