Andrena female
not helianthi as white tergal hair bands are too broad

Andrena (Cnemidandrena) colletina Cockerell, 1906, has this sort of broad hair bands but I am away from NYC and can't check specimens to see if other characters match.

Can you check later?
Dr. Ascher - if you get a chance to check when you get back, I would like to know if this is A. colletina. It doesn't appear to be in the guide yet. Thanks a lot!

it is not A. colletina
I believe it is a Callandrena sensu lato but it doesn't exactly match the species I know of that subgenus.
