Tiger Beetle Head for Guide Page

Adult tiger beetles differ from all other Carabidae by the following character:
The clypeus (I & width Red) is wider than distance between sockets of antennae (Yellow)

I - Clypeus
II - Labrum
III - Frons

Yellow - Distence between sockets of antennae
Red - Width of clypeus
