I am pretty confident this is a Spinybacked Orbweaver as listed in this bug guide. Just wanted to share the picture with the site.

The background color is nice. What is it? Neat spider too of course.

Picture
The background is the brick side of the house. The spider made a good sized web outside and is about 3 feet from the side of the house. So when I focused on it, the brick was out of focus which made for the nice background.
