Another moth by the porch light. I haven't started researching moths yet, so I am completely useless when it comes to IDing them.

Autographa californica
It is Autographa californica - Alfalfa Looper Moth 8914. A very lovely moth. Here is one on BugGuide:

I have a visual key to some common moths in our state feel free to browse when you have a new moth.
