Contains information concerning the behavior of a variety of solitary wasps (e.g. sphecid, pompilid, and vespid wasps). This is not, however, an identification guide and this book does not treat what are considered parasitic wasps (e.g. chalcid and ichneumon wasps). Includes a number of summarizing tables as well as case studies of particular species.

INSECTS OF THE SOUTHWEST: Arizona, New Mexico, So. California
By Douglas D. Copeland
Self published by author, 2009
This is a neat photo book. There is no written information, but rather 715 color photographs of dragonflies, beetles, and moths mostly from Southern Arizona. It is an excellent book to have if you are interested in Southwestern insects. Somewhat like having a miniature museum at your fingertips sans collection info.
