Might be exclamans
however I do not feel confident in moving it to species level without further confirmation

This female is masticating some prey that she caught, probably a type of caterpillar. Their abdomen usually becomes distended while chewing these preys, I assume because they fill up on the bodily fluids.

Spiderweb, South Carolina? That's where I want to live--a town just for spider lovers.

 
Not a town...
It's an unincorporated area and Spiderweb is what this area is locally known as. It even shows up as that on Google maps.

I googled it when I first saw it on your post. I wonder why it was named that.

 
Just a guess
but I think it is named for someone whose last name was Webb and his nickname was Spider as there is a road named Spider Webb (Google shows it with one B but the road sign has two B's).
BTW: We do have quite a few spiders. I've found more than dozen Ar*giope egg cases in our yard. I suspect there are more.
