Tenebrionid 34550 & 34551
A tenebrionid specialist identified this darkling beetle for me as Microschatia inaequalis of the Anza-Borrego "puncticollis" populations. It is endemic to Southern California/ Northern Baja California.

I'll move it for you
but could you let us know who the specialist is?
