ichneumonid - Female
Green Mtn. Rd., ~ 4.2 km NE of Hwy. 3A, Okanagan-Similkameen, British Columbia, Canada
July 19, 2009
It was past 6 p.m. when i saw many of these females moving up and down spruce trunks. The trees themselves did not look healthy, considering the outbreak of Orgyia pseudotsugata which started this year (2009). I suspect this is Rhyssa or something similar to this genus.
