Axion, Olla, or What? - Chilocorus

Axion, Olla, or What? - Chilocorus
Montrose, Laurens County, Georgia, USA
October 19, 2009
I know this is something of a long shot with such lousy pics and angles, but can someone please point me in the right direction? These black with two red spots types have me befuddled there are so many similar-looking species.

looks like Chilocorus stigma to me

Chilocorus, not sure which
If you have a shot of the underside it would really help. C. stigma would be the obvious choice, but with only 5 minutes left on the cybercafe-time I paid for I can't look too closely now. C. kuwanae and C. tumidus are also possible in Georgia. Think the spots are too small for C. cacti and we haven't seen that in GA yet, but it's in Florida.

If the underside was mostly red (thorax and abdomen) it's cacti or tumidus. Half black and half red, stigma or kuwanae.

East Coast Axion have more than two spots.

This particular little bugger wouldn't
sit long enough. Got clean away. I can see now I have another step added to the list for ID. Thanks, folks!

Not kuwanae, actually
SPots too round and far forward. Stigma or tumidus.
