Distinguished from small species of Lygus, with striate frons and long, sericeous setae on the clavus and corium, by the followng features:
1) humeral angle of pronotum deflexed;
2) sublateral margin of mesoscutum yellow to red;
3) frons with transverse pigmented lines; and
4) genitalia. (1)
