Thank you for the ID.
I was trying to take some photos of flowers. I even did not notice an insect was on the flower until I saw it on my computer screen. I did not intend to take the photo of this insect. So I am glad that you identified it as aphid. I have never seen (noticed) winged aphids in my garden. Thank you.

 
A bit more info here
A comment on this one of mine: tells about winged aphids. I've noticed winged aphids on leaves but didn't know this was the same thing. "Aphid" comes to mind more easily when the creature is on the host plant, in a crowd of the more familiar wingless aphids.
