Ichneumon Wasp???

Ichneumon Wasp???
Plantation, Fort Lauderdale County, Florida, USA
October 14, 2005
Size: 2 inches Approx.
First time encounter with this kind of wasp, I am not sure if it is an Ichneumon Wasp, but after looking through several guides, it is all I can come up with.. even though it is kind of a yellowish-orangish color. ID would be great and just move it to the appropriate place.

Yes.
It is an ichneumon, but beyond that, who knows? I have corresponded with various experts on the family that say even pinned specimens are difficult to ID.
