Variegated Lady Beetle? - Hippodamia

Variegated Lady Beetle? - Hippodamia

genus Hippodamia
I've absolutely got to run an errand right this second, I'll be back ASAP to look at your beetle again. Variegated lady beetle is a good possibility. (Another introduced species, but less detrimental to the native species than Harmonia axyridis has been.)

Do you have any other photos? The pronotum (between wings and head) of the variegated lady beetle is very distinctive, with two round white spots near the head:

I can't tell from this photo if your beetle does or not. If it doesn't have those spots, it could be another (native!) species.

Thank you
Unfortunatelly I don't have his pronotum photo.
But I took the other lady beetel's photo with pronotum at the same time.
I've put those photos on ID Request. I don't know how to put the link on this comment. So would you please check my another photo?
Thank you.

ID's, image links
Your other beetle is definitely Hippodamia variegata. That doesn't necessarily mean this one is the same species, though. I wouldn't ID it any farther than genus Hippodamia.

To put a thumbnail image link in a comment, you need the photo number, which appears at the upper left of the full-size image. Your H. variegata image that shows the pronotum is photo#347894. Copy the number and put it in a BBCode [thumb:] tag, like this:

[thumb:347894]

Here's how it looks:

It's automatically linked, so clicking on the thumbnail takes you to the full-size image page.

Thank you so much
Yes I agree. My other images have no meaning for identifying this lady beetle.
But at least I learned how looked H. variegata is.
Thank you so much Abiqail.

I've just confirmed how to put the thumbnail by preview.
This site is really marvelous. I'm glad to find this treasure.
