Beautiful
I wish I could see one in person. Never have (yet).

too bad not in L.A.
I'd know of a place where you could find hundreds of them. Kind of funny. It was this retaining wall on the outer edge of a yard in a multimillion dollar home neighborhood. If they only knew.. :-)

Haha
I just daydreamed a scenario that would happen to me if I lived there...
I would probably get arrested for trespassing as I tried to collect some of those widows. lol. That would be just my luck.

Pretty :)
You can't do justice to Black Widows without seeing them in person :) They're so striking. We had one in our office here at work (bug work, it's ok :P ) I could have sat and stared at it all day.

yah
I'm really fascinated with them. Found a female northern this year with her egg case and considered raising a batch of 'em. Decided they'd be better off out in the woods and left her there. What's your bug work?

Working at...
Some USDA Agricultural Research Service Labs- Biological Control of Insects Labs... It's pretty sweet :) Get to work with colonies of bugs and all that good stuff :)
