female Plathemis lydia

 
I agree with the Balabans
Its a Common Whitetail female. Differences would be an Amberwing would have a amber tint to the whole wing with darker brown wing markings (not clear wing with black markings in this case), Body would lack the yellow dashes and the size would be significantly smaller, likely about half the size of the Whitetail in the picture. Amberwings are prity tiny for a skimmer.

 
Ohhhh...
I never realized Common Whitetails can liik like this. I thought they all look similar to this.
