Hubner's Pero - Hodges#6748 - Pero ancetaria

Hubner's Pero - Hodges#6748 - Pero ancetaria
Pickens County, Georgia, USA
September 24, 2009
Size: length 19 mm.
Found at porch light.

My guess is Pero ancetaria - Hubner's Pero - 6748, but I really don't know enough to rule out
other similar Peros.

Comments/corrections would be very much appreciated.

Thanks!
Thanks for your input Nina. I about went blind comparing Peros. Honestly, I basically had to guess between honestaria and ancetaria. I thought that my moth looked closest to ancetaria based mainly on the pm line, although I found some images of honestaria that looked pretty close. Also, Covell mentions that male ancetaria (hubneraria) is brown with a variable purplish tint, not dark gray as in honestaria.
Fortunately, Dr. Adams was kind enough to take a look at this one and confirm the ID as ancetaria.
