Still have one other question.

The tail on this is different from the other one I just posted. Assuming both are mournful sphinx moths, which is the female? Yes their size is the same.

 
the sex
I didn't add this because I can't remember which is which based on the abdomen, I'm pretty sure the male is the one with the triangular shape on the tip of its abdomen and the female has the wider, less distinct abdomen. I can't find the resource that I had originally read it from.
