Large milkweed seed bug - Oncopeltus fasciatus

Large milkweed seed bug - Oncopeltus fasciatus
By lake Ontario, Toronto, Ontario, Canada
October 1, 2005
Size: ~ 15 mm, perhaps bigger
Imago feeding on a milkweed seed. Its beak is pointing down, I think. Compare its position with the one on this image. I wonder if the stylet is that very thin thing pointing towards the seed? Anybody out there who knows their mouth parts?
I wish that the image was sharper though.
