Red-spotted purple? Found on a branch on the ground under a dead pine tree. The branch was not from the pine tree though.

I'm not sure if it's possible to distinguish red-spotted purple from viceroy... curious what others will say.

Thanks Charley. Will move to Limenitis page. I've never seen a Viceroy before so I just assumed the all common Red-spotted purple would be it.
