Schistocerca shoshone - Green Bird Grasshopper
A view of the prosternal spine (pointed at by red line). The subfamily Cyrtacanthacridinae is called "spurthroated grasshopper" by Capinera et. al. because of this spine. See also this image of the spine in Schistocerca americana.
