I misread this so I moved it back to where it was. sorry.

The only middorsally spotted millipede occurring in Pennsylvania is Sigmoria (Rudiloria) trimaculata trimaculata (Wood). I can't discern enough of the gonopods in the ventral view photo to determine it from these appendages, but the color pattern only applies to this species. Apheloria virginiensis corrugata, which also occurs there, displays a banded color pattern.

I'm aware of that chemical defense-I thought you were going to tell me that this species bites. I always handle any "...pedes" with caution unless I know the species. (just like I would handle any brightly coloured reptile or amphibian-it works for them too ^_^-espcially amphibs.-some of those can be wicked too)
