Caterpillar - Hyles lineata

Caterpillar - Hyles lineata
York, York County, Pennsylvania, USA
October 18, 2005
Size: 1.5 - 2 inches
This caterpillar was found on the driveway at work by my staff. I brought it home to photograph it and to try to identify it but can't seem to find it in my guides. It looks similar to some of the hornworms and sphinxes in David Wagner's book but I can't find a match. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
