Aphonopeloma burrows - Aphonopelma

Aphonopeloma burrows - Aphonopelma
Pinnacles National Monument, San Benito County, California, USA
November 8, 2009
Open and plugged (second photo) burrows found and photographed by RJ Adams. From his notes: "The plug was about an inch and a half long (basically the size of a cork) and made of silk and dirt. Also, notice how the soil is pushed to one side creating a raised crescent, not evenly distributed into a mound".
