Nephus flavifrons, with a yellow frons!
This one shows the flavious (yellow) frons that gave the species its name. Not all N. flavifrons have it.

The pale areas on the pronotum threw me off for a while, but Gordon does mention it: "pronotum usually entirely black or with anterolateral angle narrowly pale" (1985, p. 296).
