family Lycosidae... - Hogna lenta - Female

I found this girl last spring wandering around on the grass shortly after sunset. I was trying to catch crickets, and I believe that she was too. I only kept her for about a half-hour before I released her where I found her. I was very impressed by here size. She's no carolina wolf, but she's close.
