I agree that it should stay at family level if the genus isn't certain. This has been discussed many times before like here and it seems that the consensus is to move them to where there is high certainty (in this case, family).

Regardless of whether it can or cannot be identified beyond family it is worth keeping in my opinion.
As Eric says, Bugguide is a showcase of photographs. If a non-professional publication needs an illustration for this family this one would do quite nicely. Also, we don't have too many images of this family (compare honey bees or monarchs; that is where we need a lot of frassing!).
This is why I feel that we shouldn't frass it, at least not yet.
