I moved it from mites to mites :-)
Sorry for the confusion but it was moved as part of my reorganization of the mites section. Acari is now a subclass. You can always tell where an image is located by the taxonomic string above the image.

Beetle
It looks like one of the Carrion Beetles. I typed it into the Bug Guide search engine and found many varieties.

Thanks ^_^ I knew it was a species of carrion beetle-not sure which one though. But we had been mentioning the mites they carry and why they carry them and this guy looks like he's got way to many passengers. I wonder how that affects them.
