Double Dart - Graphiphora augur

Double Dart - Graphiphora augur
Ailsa Craig, Middlesex, Ontario, Canada
August 24, 2005
On wall of community centre. Sort of looks like Graphiphora augur but maybe it's something else? Anal angle of both wings maybe torn off by a predator?
Update: title changed from "jagged-line moth"

A good match
for specimens in my collection. Exception is that the latest date I have is 23 July.

G. augur
Thanks again Tony. I found a late season listing of "mid-August" for this species in Europe, and a single late record in September in the UK. Image moved to species page (I might have more unIDed shots of this species on my hard drive; will look some more)
