Braconid Wasp cocoons?
Hi, Brian. Someone else will be able to confirm this guess as I'm not really knowledgeable about either the wasp or the host caterpillar... But, looks very similar to these images showing braconid wasps parasitizing Sphinx Moth caterpillars:

cocoons
