Destroyed every leaf on our Mexican Olive Tree last May. They just showed up again this April.

Wild olive leaf beetle
According to Dr. Roy Parker, Texas A&M, -"The insect is the larva
stage of a leaf beetle in the family Chrysomelidae. I refer to them as
the "wild olive leaf beetle" although there is no official common name.
It is a very common of all wild olive trees in South Texas.
