Locust Treehopper Nymph - Thelia bimaculata
Near Ruraldale, Upshur County, West Virginia, USA

Size: About 8 mm
This is the fifth and final instar, judging from what I've been reading. Only in the fifth instar is the horn so developed and the wingpad so large.
This one was at about three or four feet above the ground, on the trunk of a skinny locust.
