Tiny black-eyed reddish beetle - Melanophthalma

Size: 1.8 mm

Came to UV lights, where it is a frequent visitor. The enlarged second antennal segment must be somewhat diagnostic for genus/species. Presumably same species as this:

As you may know, I do not keep a traditional insect collection so I give away most of my specimens. Those who have been most helpful get preference. If there are any beetles I post that you would like me to set aside for you, please ask for them.
