perfect -- thanks, Don!

Moved from Notoxus.

Thanks v,
Thanks for the ID.

:-/
i may have been too hasty to move this one; here's what Don had to say: "There are about 5 species of Notoxus with this elytral color pattern in the western two-thirds of Texas (drier Texas). The length and angle of the elytral setae should be seen to some extent, and the form of the horn. The angle and clarity of the photo is such that I can't be sure. I would guess at Notoxus nuperus from the color cast of the elytra, but am not sure."

now, my question: could the color differences be attributed to the photography? =v=

color looks
fine for N. nuperus. I would go with Notoxus nuperus? as I can't be 100% sure.
