We keep trying to stir up interest in Texas
caterpillars, but don't seem to get much response. And we can't find much in the way of resources for them, though we know there are folks down there raising them. Our best guess on these after much searching is Lophocampa catenulata in the guide here. But we're the ones who put those images in the guide there, so we don't know how much you can count on that ID. We looked at images from Costa Rica and did an elimination of species that were to be found in the southern US and came to this. Hope you can find some way to get confirmation of our work.
