But not the jackpot! :-))
This is indeed a Eristalis, but the species is E. tenax, very recognisable by the two stripes of hair over it's eyes from top to bottom.(visible in this picture!) E. arbustorum is smaller and differently colored!This is a male with touching eyes on top of the head.
