Calliphoridae or Sarcophagidae?
Fairfield, Wayne County, Illinois, USA

Size: 1 cm
Venetion points away from muscids toward Calliphoridae or Sarcophagidae. I would lean toward the latter but it lacks the "red butt" sign. Pointers?

Tachinidae: probably Ptilode
Tachinidae: probably Ptilodexia sp.
