handsome little click beetle - Conoderus bellus

handsome little click beetle - Conoderus bellus
Hollis, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, USA
November 2, 2005
Size: 4 mm
I often see tiny brown click beetles and normally pass them up. However, I've developed better techniques for closeups of small beetles, so I decided to try shooting one. To my surprise, it had a fascinating color pattern that I had been unable to see in the field. It held still, cleaning its antennae for several shots.

Conoderus bellus
Appears to be same as two postings IDed by Tim Moyer as Conoderus bellus.

I got this same one yesterday
I got this same one yesterday too. Nice color pattern, on such a small beetle. Here's the one I got small Elateridae.

me too
i photographed a couple of these two days ago in new york.

Late fliers!
This seems to be their time to fly: November!!

so...
any idea on species?

Haven't searched yet
When I have so many to tweak and post, I often don't take the time to search for ID myself, hoping someone else will recognize it by sight. I guess the short answer would be No.
