You can probably mark that down as
a female if you wanted to, by the way. Have you seen the males before? Pretty insane, haha. If you haven't, it's definitely one of those 'must-see' bugs.

no, I actually have only found a dobsonfly only this once. And just this summer I saw a fishfly for the first time. These guys seem to be pretty elusive.
