This is likely panorpa neglecta (=hungerfordi) based on the wide wings, one submarginal spot, season, and locality.

This is a real beauty, Ilona. I am envious of this find!! Thanks for your note in Buguide. This has not been a good insect year so far, although I did finally find a Chalcid wasp. Believe our unusual 33 inch snow this past winter (Wisconsin weather!)had something to do with insect population. So far this summer (late August) have only seen two plant/leaf hoppers.
