Flies
Are those flies on the bug? I've seen a bunch of pictures of small flies sucking on dead true bugs in spider webs... interesting how they may be there and the bug wasn't even dead yet!

 
very observant
I had forgotten about seeing those flies on the encased true bug until you commented on it. I had initially thought that the bug was dead because of them. I was curious what type of prey she had, so I temporarily took it from her web. When I stretched the silk, it started wriggling around inside, and I could see what it was. When I did return it to her, she was very possessive of it. Afterwards, I had forgotten about the flies being there.
