We'd say Rhopalidae
Boisea trivittatus - Eastern Boxelder Bug. Can be found in the guide here. This is our first post from Michigan. Lots of reports of them moving to wintering sites. Especially found in large numbers on the south side of homes in the sunlight.

LOL -- i feel really dumb. i KNEW that.
