We'd say Rhopalidae
Boisea trivittatus - Eastern Boxelder Bug. Can be found in the guide here. This is our first post from Michigan. Lots of reports of them moving to wintering sites. Especially found in large numbers on the south side of homes in the sunlight.

Hey thanks.

LOL -- i feel really dumb. i KNEW that.

i also see lots of great images of these guys as they are common. so whomever handles pruning, feel free to trash unless you see something in one of these pics that isn't apparent anywhere else.
