I agree...
this is most-likely D. parallelus based on the posterior humeral angles. A dorsal shot would help to look at shape. The sculpturing also looks more like D. parallelus (although is is not necessariy a reliable character).

Moved from Beetles. I'm leaning toward D. parallelus because the humeral angles of the elytra lack a large tooth. Also, brevis seems to be more common further south. How can you tell it's a female?
