Mature males are completely blue, with blue eyes and white faces. Younger males appear similar to females (with yellow in the tail) but gradually become blue.

Once you receive an ID to your satisfaction
you, as contributor, are free to TAG and MOVE them to their appropriate place in the guide. If you do not, an editor may stumble upon them and move them for you, but you have complete control over your own images. Click on TAG or TAG ALL if there are more than one image. Navigate to the appropriate page in the guide, Libellula vibrans here. Click on IMAGES, and you should see "Move Tagged Images". One more click and they are moved! Try it!

Thank you, at first I thought you were incorrect because some images were showing yellow in the tail. I found more info and now know this is a mature male & the Immature males tend to have yellow iike the female. Thanks for your help
