Euodynerus sp. G
Moved from Euodynerus. This is unnamed sp. G which also has a red colour form in Florida. E. boscii boharti is hairier and has two well separated spots on the scutellum. This wasp is very similar to E. castigatus rubrovestis but the male has the last antennal segment black instead of yellowish. Excellent find! This is an uncommon wasp and you are probably the first person who has ever photographed one alive. If you have additional pictures it would be worthwhile to post them as well.

Thank you
Dr. Buck. I will go back to that folder and see if I have any other shots and, if I do, I will post them.

Moved

This one is a male Euodynerus sp...
as evidenced by his hooked antennae. Bulky outline seems to indicate E. boscii boharti, but waiting for Dr Buck's confirmation is safer.
