spider - Cicurina brevis - female

spider - Cicurina brevis - Female
Harvard, Worcester County, Massachusetts, USA
March 5, 2010
Size: 3.2mm
This female was playing dead like this for a long time before she got up and ran. I found her in the same leaf litter as this male.

Moved
Moved from Cicurina.

Unfortunately, I somehow ended up with only the cephalothorax (which is not a problem when it is a male). Perhaps the transfering from one vial to another I somehow lost something.

The male looks to be C. brevis and the image of the epigynum you shot does also appear to fit the species.
